“Paul” Release Dates

I made a post in July with the original release dates, but these are the new ones:

UK and Ireland: 18 February 2011
United States: 18 March 2011
Germany: 14 April 2011
Norway: 3 June 2011

These are the only dates I’m aware of, but if I find anymore I’ll be sure to post them.

Did you get to see Simon Pegg at a “Nerd Do Well” book signing? We’d love to see pictures if you’ve got them!

There are still five more book signings (UK only), so go if you can! Dates, times, and places for the remaining signing events can be found here.

Pictures of Simon, you and Simon, and your signed book as well as a story about your encounter are more than welcome to be submitted. Please, submit your photos and stories here! We’ll be happy to share your experience with the rest of Tumblr’s SP/NF fans. Don’t forget to include a link to your blog if you choose to submit.

Tumblr’s archives have been redone! I rather like it. Be sure to check it out. Some of the pictures in the archive I don’t even remember! But it’s Nick and Simon all the same.

If you run a Tumblelog completely dedicated to either just Nick or just Simon- or even Edgar Wright- send them to me if you’d like and I will link them on simonpeggandnickfrost’s home page.

Important update:

Dell finally just gave up repairing and replaced my laptop- take my advice, buy a Mac. So, I will try to resume updating regularly.

And, please, feel free to submit stuff. I received a submission yesterday and it made me very happy. I love submissions, I just have some basic rules/formatting.

Weekend Update with Sarah

Emergency band meeting? Not quite.

I know this is long, but I bolded key words if your only interested in a certain topic I’m covering.

Right, ok, let’s get started:

First, submissions. I like to remind y’all since I know if you’re like me you’d rather just look at the pictures through your dash rather than go to the home page. So, send in your submissions if you’d like. Please, read the rules first- they’re very basic.

Next, tags. instead of having pictures with Simon only marked Simon, Nick only marked Nick, and with the two of the together be marked Simon and Nick, if you look up one [via tags] then you will find all of the pictures with that person in them with or without the other. Because this is the ‘fuck yeah’ Simon Pegg and the ‘fuck yeah’ Nick Frost. Just thought I’d clear that up. [Other tags, including Shaun of the Dead, Trivia, and more, can be accessed on the homepage]

Edgar Wright. With many requests to show some Edgar Wright love on this fan blog, I was more than happy to oblige. However this is called ‘simonpeggandnickfrost,’ not ‘simonpeggnickfrostandedgarwright.’ There are plenty of pictures, however of Ed with the boys. I think I will only post a picture of Ed without either Simon or Nick with him to either once a day, or possibly even down to once a week [Wright Wednesday?]. I post plenty of Edgar Wright pictures on my personal blog all the time, too. See?

Have you got suggestions/questions? Well, I have a formspring specifically for this fan blog. Suggestions can also be submitted [I will just read them, not post them]. If you ask a question, if it’s pertaining to the blog, I will answer through my personal tumblr, but if it’s a Nick or Simon question I think others would like to know the answer to [if I can provide them] I will answer them here on the blog and tag under news and trivia. Also, tumblr has provided me with an email- it is for submissions, but you may use it to email me in regards to this blog.

And, finally, trivia. Like the request to post Edgar Wright pictures, I also received a lot of feedback to post some trivia. I will post news about the boys, updates on upcoming movies, trivia about movies out now, and trivia about the boys themselves. I think I am going to limit the amount of trivia I post a week to three days [Monday, Wednesday, and Friday] because there is only so much the internet can tell you about someone you don’t know, regardless of their celebrity status.

Just for the record:

You won’t be seeing any Star Trek memes on this blog. I think there was one picture of Scotty I reblogged because it said ‘Pub?’ on it. That doesn’t mean no Star Trek pictures, it just means no ‘memed’ ones.

Stalkerazzi Paparazzi pictures are unwelcome on this blog. Photos from premieres are okay, but no creeper pictures will ever be posted.

Audience opinions wanted!

Alright everyone. I love hearing feedback from y’all. I’ve got a couple suggestions that need some opinions from you Pegg and Frost fans:

1. Trivia Facts: about Simon, about Nick, about the movies and shows they’ve starred in, etc.

2. Videos: I have only posted a few videos before, but if you’d like, I’ll start posting all the videos I can find [such as interviews, movie clips, or funny stuff]

3. Graphics: such as stuff I’ve found on the web created by fans or stuff you may want to create and submit.

4. Fan photos: I haven’t posted really any pictures of the guys with their fans, but I can start doing that if you’d like.

5. Edgar Wright: he doesn’t have a ‘fuck yeah’ so I thought I’d post a picture of him- without the guys- every now and then, because he’s fucking awesome like that.
