Nick Frost is married.

I haven’t posted this fact yet for two reasons: I don’t know when it happened or what her name is. I haven’t heard any official announcement, but Nick tweets about her- if he’s said her name, I must have missed it.

So, belated congratulations to Nick Frost and his new wife!

Edgar Wright likes to touch Nick Frost.

Oh, you read that right. During the Hot Fuzz press tour, the many interviews became monotonous. In order to break this uniformity, Edgar Wright liked  “to touch Nick Frost’s pipe during interviews and sometimes rub [Nick’s] leg with [his/ Edgar’s] foot.”

Silly boys.

Nick went on the West Ham United podcast the other week!

And from what I understand he talks a little about the movie starring him and Simon, Paul.

By the way, for those who don’t know West Ham United is a football club and Nick is a big supporter of them.

The Beatles were playing in the operating room when Simon’s daughter was born.

Maureen and Simon wanted their baby girl to come into the world listening to music. The song Simon remembers hearing first was, coincidentally, Girl. So awesome!

I just realized that Simon Pegg’s lovely wife, Maureen, has officially taken his last name.

Formerly McCann, even after her marriage to Simon Pegg, according to IMDb.com she now goes by Maureen Pegg. Just throwing that out there :)

When The Boat That Rocked comes out in America it will be called Pirate Radio.

More information on the movie, which features Nick Frost, can be read on IMDb.com. The Boat That Rocked is due to release in U.S. theaters on November 13th. It released earlier this year- on different dates- in all other countries it was due to release in.

Simon Pegg Trivia: The Flasher

Simon Pegg once accidentally revealed his naked self to his entire family. He made the mistake of showing his parents and siblings a home-made film without censoring the tape’s contents.

‘I once showed a holiday video to my entire family and forgot there was a point where I flashed. I only realized about one second before it happened and couldn’t get to the remote in time to stop them all from seeing me pull down my trousers and reveal myself. My sister screamed and my mum said, ‘Ooh, that’s changed.”

Nick Frost Trivia: The Weapons Expert

Nick Frost made up the character of a military-obsessed gun fanatic to amuse friend and flat mate Simon Pegg. Wanting Nick to put his talents to good use, Simon wrote Nick the part of Mike Watts in his show Spaced.

‘If you don’t appear in our show, I’ll cut your nuts up.’

Once, during his time as the weapons expert, Mike Watts, he took a gun home to practice taking it apart and putting it back together:

‘I took a gun home to practice stripping it. A woman saw the barrel sticking out of my bag and called the police. I had gone home and it was a very hot day so I opened the back door of my house and was sitting in a pair of skimpy shorts with a blindfold on, taking the gun to pieces. When I put it back and lifted the blindfold up, there were six or eight armed policemen holding firearms at me and they came in and started screaming - it was very tense.’

Simon Pegg was going to be appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, but due to scheduling conflicts with Simon’s other upcoming movie Paul, directed by Greg Mottola, Simon was forced to turn down the role.

‘Much to our mutual disappointment, I won’t be appearing in QT’s forthcoming Inglourious Bastards due to insurmountable scheduling difficulties. We really tried to make it work but in the end, it just was not possible without severe ramifications elsewhere, I’m trying to remain upbeat, as Tom Selleck said ‘Who the hell is Indiana Jones anyway?’’
